In the first movie I ever produced, with my DP Iván Blanco as director, and my longtime collaborator Svante Lodén as editor, we dig deep into our childhood hero – the first Swedish 1990’s rap superstar Dogge Doggelito. In the ruins of his former stardom – once the pride of Sweden’s multicultural suburbs – Dogge wrestles with fading fame, fatherhood, and the struggle to belong.
